Tara found her quilt

Tara's quilt was folded up in my sewing room when she came to visit.
I was downstairs where my long arm machine lives and she trotted down
wrapped in the quilt like something out of How to make an American quilt.
She loved it.

Baby Anna has arrived

Anna Dorothy Suesskow arrived on the 28th February 2012.
The first child for my nephew Glen and his wife Crystal.
Her middle name is a tribute to my mother and Glen's nan Dorothy.
Mum was delighted.
Glen and Crystal are two warm, loving, gentle, special people, who are literally,
a match made in heaven.
It came as no surprise to me that they would be so thoughtful.
Anna is the baby I made the Butterfly quilt for.

Snuggled in looking very comfy four days old.

Grandparents, Christine and Peter and Anna looking like a living doll!

Great grandmother Dorothy (my mum)

First bath. Anna with mum and dad Crystal and Glen.
A new baby brings such joy to families!
Congratulations on the start of your journey and new beginnings

A trip to Sydney to see the stage show Annie

My daughter Tara bought me a ticket to see Annie for my birthday.
I headed off to Sydney by train with Tara and my friend Mary-Ann who
we also call Annie.
Colleen and Mary-Anne
Colleen and Tara

I really enjoyed the show.
I have never seen Anthony Warlow and I was really looking forward to his performance.
He didn't let the audience down he was very good as was his co-star Nancye Hayes.
Alan Jones was a surprise as he sang and acted quite well.
I didn't want to like Todd McKenney as he plays the nasty judge on Dancing with the Stars
but.he was faultless, I would even have to say fabulous.
His performance was polished, perfect and really enjoyable.
The children stars, especially Lucille Le Meledo who played Annie, were fantastic.

Happy Birthday

My birthday was in February and I celebrated with a family breakfast at my
favourite spot for some brekkie, Hughzies at Toronto.

I was joined by my son Lee, his wife Shelley - my daughter-in-law, (me), my little sister Leanne, my daughter Tara, my son Sean's (who was at work) wife Gillian- my daughter in law, (how blessed am I with having two such lovely ladies, marry my sons) and my hubbie Peter.
Thank you to all of you I had a lovely morning and was very spoilt xxxx
